There was a big group of jeeps that went through a section and each jeep hit the spike traps in the water crossings. Like 30 tire plugs total iirc, that actually kept me away from Ozark NF for a little bit

Yeah then they all winched them out.

Looks like a lot is not available on that site anymore. Trying to find whole story.

Please see the crude blue circle in the above picture. It seems like everyone is running Maxtrax or some other brand but all are plastic. If you look at a lot of international rigs you see what looks like metal Maxtrax. So my question is why are these metal Maxtrax not more popular on this forum and here in the states. they look like they could hold up to a lot more abuse and maybe even be able to be used to "bridge". What is the collectives thought about these?

Picked up some Plano goodness. I was able to get everything that I travel with into 2 trunks. The third will be used for backup or my rtt awning. Much improved from my Rubbermaid Lids Won't Stay On and a Small Breeze Will Carry it Away and It Breaks if Dropped Lightly and Are Ackward to Carry and Are Not Waterproof Even a Little Edition storage bins.

I figured. Fit and finish wise it sounds like you are satisfied though. I too hate rubbermaids.

Are they the ones that have a rubber seal? I couldn't find any of the 1919-99 (rubber seal) only the 1919-00's (no seal)

I would say the weight would be a major factor. Something like that would weight at least 100#.

Yes: Bass Pro Outdoor World in Northfield/Stapleton (although it could also be a pricing mistake...I ain't no snitch, though).

I actually bought one from Dick's Sporting Goods initially but it was the last one. Neither Dick's nor Bass Pro had the ones with rubber seals. I am going to contact Plano to see if I can buy and add the seals separately.

I really just like typing "Dick's" over and over again because I'm a full-grown adult.

If you leave it like that for longer than 4 hours, does your truck have to consult its physician? :anonymous:

This was an amazing trip! 1035 miles, 4 days, and 3 nights of awesome weather, beautiful views, and fun hiking. I'll post a couple pictures later highlighting a couple spots.. including two camp spots we found late at night after leaving the parks for the day. They were incredible. I saved them for anyone else looking to camp in those areas outside the parks. As we found out.. not as many open places as we thought. that were convenient anyways.

Pictures. Lots of duplicates and crap pics.. didnt want to sift through them. Just went click happy with the Google Pixel and unlimited storage. lol

    Never enough
UPDATE 7/5/17: Hobo Hammocks is running a promotion right now for $10 off a hammock order. This brings your total for a hammock, hanging straps, carabiners, and shipping to only $49. This is everything you need to get you hanging! Use promo code "helpthehomeless" now through July 8th.

If anyone out there is looking for a hammock I'd like to direct you all to Hobo Hammocks (underlined text is a link). I recently just purchased a hammock from them and can't say enough good things about them. For one they donate a meal to the homeless for every hammock they sell, pretty awesome if you ask me. Second, their hammocks come with the hanging straps (10 ft each) and carabiners that other companies charge $20-$40 for. Last, they ship for free and ship quickly. I received mine in under a week from when I ordered. Since I got mine I have slept in it for 2 nights here in the mountains of Colorado and plan to use it more this summer. Overall I think they provide the best value of any hammock brand I have heard of so I wanted to share my experience with you all.

**Full disclosure: I would make a few bucks if you order your hammock through the link I provided above. If this is not allowed Mods feel free to nuke my post**

Either way give these guys a look!
