Ahhh, nevermind. Didn't realize that was flexed.

Thanks man. Cutting was a bitch but it's worth it to not worry about rubbing.

Had it offroad saturday hitting some pretty good obstacles. Never rubbed once. Only rubbed backing into parking spots at full lock right. Thats why I trimmed a little more off today

Bumping this thread, if anyone has pics of their chop please post! I want to have as many reference pictures as I can look at before I take a cut off wheel to my truck, or take my truck to a fab shop. I just put on some 285/70/R17's on my 3rd Gen, and I arrived to the quick conclusion that significant chop is needed.

Thanks Shawn for the quick reply! Did you have to do any other trimming?

My pleasure! Yea... removed all the inner wheel plastic.

My CMC is the 3rd one and is perfect now. No risk of rubbing there. Finally got it right.

I also have LT and a big offset in my wheels "-38." I just had to pound out the back center of the wheel wells then had the body shop clean it up. Finally all clear.

Thank you Brandon. The bumper is from Pelfreybilt. The headlights were completed by HIDProjectors.com. Both great companies and were great to work with.
