lots of pics.. lots of duplicates and shitty pics too..

From our trip to Utah. We hit Horseshoe Bend, Lone Rock, Bryce Canyon and Zion. Did a bunch of hiking and set up camp in a couple amazing spots. Awesome trip and cant wait to go back!

@RPS1030 we made it up Smithsonian Butte from Rockville around 8pm.. didnt get a chance to see the views coming up that night (pretty gnarly, steep road, and kinda sketchy at night!) so when we woke up Tuesday morning, we were blown away with the views from camp. We ended up cutting over to the ridge at Gooseberry Mesa sooner than the spot you mentioned.. regardless.. the views from that ridge are incredible. I saved that spot, and a spot just outside Zion near Mt Carmel, that again.. had amazing views from a ridge. we found that spot at night too in a clutch to setup prior to Zion and eat.. everything worked out perfectly. couldnt have planned better camp spots.

I left Tuesday morning to get back to the east coast. I had to get back to my pup, which I didn't get until after 1030 last night. Plus the whole work thing today.

On my old house yes. I just used the foam board you buy at Home Depot. Work's great and is well worth the cost.

Kids decided they wanted breakfast for dinner.

So pizza for breakfast, apple pie for lunch and pancakes for dinner. I am killing it as a dad right now!

These lazy 'recovery' days are rare at our house, but they are nice when they do happen. I think the kids deserve them too.

Its funny, in my 20s a stay in perfect day involved being naked with a chick all day, ordering pizza and paying the delivery guy to go buy beer and gatorade.

Now it's kid movies and making pancakes with my kids in all sorts of different shapes.

I wouldn't change any of it for a second.

Nope, we refi'd to a ridiculously low rate. Going to work on the house and just enjoy it for a few more years.
