How do you remove the coin slot/holders in dash between the instrument cluster and radio of the Tacoma's and the T100's? I couldn't find anything about it using the 'search' feature.

Coin slot? I have no idea what you're talking about, can you take a pic?

I'd say just pry it out with a flat screw driver by the short end of it. You made me think that it is a good spot for switches.

Are you talking about the rectangular things adjacent to the ignition?

Those aren't on any Tacoma as far as I know, only T100's. You just pop them out with a scredriver or push them out from behind the trim. They're factory switch blanks.

Thanks for posting that for me, I went out and took a pic of mine and was about to post it when I saw yours. I could have sworn I had those in one of my Tacoma's but I guess I was wrong. I was hoping it would come out without having to disassemble the whole dash of my T100 so I'll try to pop it out. That is where I am wanting to put a USB port, I found some ports that should fit.

You don't need to remove the dash to pop them out, I'm sure you can remove them with a screwdriver. Wouldn't you need to anyway to run wiring?

In places like that I usually put the wires on the switch and insert the wires through the hole.
