For all the guys out there that have a CVT RTT up in this region... Does anyone have the summit edition or thoughts about it?

I don't have a cvt I have tepui but after camping in a snow/hail/downpour on the summit I can't imagine not having the more rugged model. If you are planning any camping in any weather outside of perfect I would recommend spending the extra coin

So I've seen those around but never used one. What is so great about them?

Yeah that is why I want a rugged one lol. I do some winter camping during the ski season and talk about a cold morning....
    Ahh makes sense.

Local to the are in Santa Cruz. Damn good quality and customer service. Not that CVT is bad, i just support tepui. @JLee can probably hook you up with a good deal since he is a distributor.

I've had a couple of them and have been very happy. I know a bunch of local guy that have them as well. The only weirdo i know with a CVT is @DannyBFresco :D

Edit- look into the ruggedized option for your winter camping needs

    :spy:

If the bridge is still out (and barricaded) there are alternate routes. One is to come in on 20 from Nevada City and go up through Graniteville.

Figured someone would. If that continues to happen, maybe the repair will get done sooner.

I have the extended summit shasta. Camped in the snow and a couple torrential downpours. Completely dry and warm inside. I don't have any experience with the non summit series but if you plan on winter camping I would suggest the summit.

Is it ok to do a coil over lift in front and a full leaf spring lift in the rear? It will be my next tackle. I'm doing the snorkel next weekend. Thinking of +3" coil over lift for front. It has a 2" spacer and I hate those things. Will be loosing the spacers and dumbass blocks in the rear. (I bought it like this to build)
