Anyone have the Thule T2 pro XT bike carrier? I'm wondering if 3rd gen tailgate will lower when tilted.

Any on here have a Kuat NV rack on their hitch?

When i fold down my tailgat, the front wheel tray hits the tailgate.

I am considering trimming the tray so the tailgate can fully go down with no rub.

Any feedback or remedies would be greatly appreciated.

Trimmed the front wheel tray on mine and it doesn't work ... tailgate still hits the metal. NV is for sale and I just got a 1Up.

Yeah good timing ... I just replaced the front wheel tray that I cut today so that I could sell it

Tried the RakAttach too haha! For some reason I couldn't get the RakAttach to sit level in my hitch so I had to return it. I've heard it has something to do with the extra width/height tolerances of the factory Tacoma receiver, but who knows, others have had success with it. That being said it's a bomb proof product and Walter is a good guy to deal with.

Haha also good to know! I feel like I could sell my NV for $300 and get a 1up for the cost that it would take to get a rackattack as well.

Really helpful and I appreciate your feedback. Sorry you had to go through all of that for it not to work out but I sure do appreciate it

I used to race on the road pretty obsessively, but had one of those come to jesus/why am I here moments one day while training. Now I just take the old MTB with me and see if I can ride random obstacles I find. Typically the answer ends up being "Yeah, bad idea."

Nice single track dbag. Is that the Dead Horse state park near Cottonwood? We have great single track in the Sandia Foothills (about 75 miles) in Albuquerque. Ride there almost every day. I'll post images soon, and maybe a go-pro video.

Go to krank Cycles in Makawao. They can point you to some fun trails in Makawao forest reserve.

Too bad Maui bike park closed. That place was hella fun.

1UP on my 2017 Off Road. The rack is 1 1/4" so it can fit on the Spazda3 when required. Tailgate can be lowered when rack is folded flat as well.

Useful info: Found out this weekend that a set of RockyMounts LoBalls will clear the front bar of an Access Limited roll-up tonneau cover with no need for 1/4" spacers! (Mounted to the front header bed rail.

Thought I'd share this here. Had my All Pro bed bars (for my RTT) modified with some custom attachments for my Yakima trays. Super stoked that I can now transport my bikes and my RTT with full use of the bed.
