My truck is mostly stock with the TRD Sport package. Would I need to upgrade leaf springs or shocks to carry a bed rack, RTT and gear? I don't know much about suspension so bear with me! I've seen a lot of posts about upgrading leaf springs is why I ask.

Lazy prevails again. I was ready to run a fused circuit and found the Coleman CPX fan with the rechargeable battery on Amazon. We'll just charge it in the truck while driving.....$47 for the package deal is cheaper than 2-3 hours of my time under the truck.

He is definitely in Virginia. He told me he doesnt go on the forums anymore because too many people give him crap for having so many rotopax, and he was tired of explaining.

Im not sure, but he might have been in AZ.Most likely not the same guy though.. The only contact info I have is his email.

Damn. Might have to pick one of those up, I like the recharging capability. We just grabbed this at Walmart on our way out for our 4 day trip to Utah. Worked great and was like 15 bucks!

    Check The Build Thread
Short answer: you should because Toyota leaf packs suck.

If you're going to carry a constant load of rack and tent, you're rear is going to sag.
