I dont have the rear window switch. But i ended up putting my lightbar switch in the blank next to that. Probably wont bother installing the switch panel for awhile. Im going to add some spots to the rear bumper for the boat ramp.

Does anybody know if the rear bilstein 5100's are compatible with dakar leafs or do I need longer rear shocks? Im seeing conflicting info.

5100s come in standard and extended. Dakars will need extended.

Needed something interesting in the foreground for all the lightning going off over Lake Lavon last night. Think this worked pretty well if I do say so myself. ;)

I've had the 3 switch one waiting to be installed for months. Also have other lights to get installed once I decide where they are going.

16's won't be pre wired. From what I've read they don't even have the mounting locations for the electronics.
@Silverspool is right. The standards will over extend with dakars, you need the extended ones to go with dakars.

4WP is telling me they dont show an extended length 5100 and the part number I had found online was an old style Bilstein number. Would this be the correct new style?

That actually sounds right for 3rd gen but ill defer to someone who knows for sure. Dakars, if unmodified provide 2.75" lift, those should work if im guessing right.

Yeah its getting confusing. I also read something about the 5125's needing shock top adapters for a second gen, not sure if they mount to the 3rd gen without adapter or not.

You probably have the regular length. Bilsteins with an AAL do not need to be the extended version. Only on the dakars do you need the extended version to handle the added droop.
