Yeah it's a DynaGlo, never heard of the brand, but had good reviews and was on sale for $200 at Home Depot. I love charcoal, but I don't grill enough for that and usually I'm trying to get dinner done right after work and before the kids go to sleep, so gas is better.

My old grill was a 3 burner, but one of them was broken, grates were old and the starter was broken (like every grill) and replacement parts were $200. No brainer to just go with the new one. Will be it's maiden grill this weekend as I cook for 25+ people.

That looks like Utah. More specifically, perhaps the Bryce Canyon visitor center parking lot. Perhaps. Where did you find this pic, Peter?

Love gas grills. No shame. I had a grill from BBQ's galore so that I could go back and get parts when mine wore out. Mine wore out. No parts. Bastards have changed ownership. Screw it. Paid the big bucks and went with a Weber. They will have parts when mine gets old.

My Weber is almost 20 years old and don't think I've ever had to change anything yet.

Flavorizer bars gonna get replaced next year. They're pretty thin.

Luckily I'm close enough for some cooler weather but not close enough for those rust issues.

I will fully admit that the prices for the current Weber grills are prohibitive for me, if I had to replace. That aside.. I'd like to think I'd make it happen anyway, they're super long lasting, great performers and a ton of product/parts support.

The CharBroil and similar grills I've used elsewhere (my parents have a huge stainless Ducane) and they just don't last as long or perform as well. Nothing more annoying than a 36" wide grill that only gets hot in an 8" section.

I always liked my visits to Louisiana. Occasional run to The Quarter. And a nice juicy steak at Copelands Steak House. Then there's the crayfish. mmmmmm
