We do from time to time but with it being hot in the summer we tend to camp on Lakes and not wheel too much. Also July is super busy for me

    Update...

Cleaned MAF with MAF cleaner, cleaned connection with cleaner and added dielectric grease. Reset code and drove home. No code. Easy fix this time.

So I made my account on here several years ago when I was just a kid when I didn't even know the difference between a spacer kit and coil overs..owned 3 different vehicles since then before finally coming across a 98 Tacoma with only 70k miles on it. I knew it'd be the perfect truck to build on. I don't do a lot of serious off roading but I'm always driving on extremely rough and neglected dirt or white rock roads and several times a year I hit some trails in Oklahoma that actually have terrain/elevation variation and technical aspects to driving them.
So far my mod list is as follows:
    Toytec 0-3" kit
    Eibach coils
    Bilstein 5100s all around
    Icon 3 leaf AAL
    Line-X bed liner
CBI off road ditch light brackets
    Rigid D-SS pods
and I'm ordering JBA UCAs next week.

Also, if anyone has a recommendation for a solid plate front bumper that is bolt on for a 98 I'm open to recommendations and pics are always a +

    Here's the before and after:

Addicted off-road and Pelfreybilt are going to be the only bolt on options for our years

had a cracked window replaced yesterday. The tech guy said there was some rust they had to remove, I had a slight wind howling noise that is now gone I wonder if thats what it was. I also had a leak but it hasnt rained since the window got replaced so I dont know if thats still a problem or not.

Windshield? When I had mine replace a couple weeks ago they said I had some rust too. Mine had a pretty bad wind howl when I drove anywhere and it's gone now.

The rust doesn't make noise but whatever made the wind noise is what allowed the water to come in too. Most likely the weather stripping leaking or loose

Hey guys I really could use your help I'm ordering new front rotors made by power stop and I need to know which size to order as they have two different sizes. I have a 2004 double cab V6 four wheel drive. One of the size rotors is without stability control 296mm and the other one is with stability control 318mm . So I am confused which size should I order? I didn't think our trucks had stability control .

I was going to vote for lime green, but that works too.

yeah I meant windshield. I had a noticeable wind howl on the passenger side, Im thinking thats where the noise was coming from at first I thought it was because it was windy out when I was driving it but yesterday it was gone so next windy day I will test it out more.

If you're going to bedline your truck, I say go for something unique. Not full retard pink or lime green, but something different for sure.

I though that about that. I just don't know what I would do. I don't want to standout that much, not that I would.

So it seems like every time I asked for help on this 1st Gen thread it seems like no one wants to respond this is the 4th time I've asked for help and nobody has responded. That's pretty sad I thought we were all Tacoma Brothers and we look out for each other
