Thank you Robert for responding I really do appreciate that but this is my question .I'm ordering new front rotors made by power stop and I need to know which size to order as they have two different sizes. I have a 2004 doublecab V6 four wheel drive. One of the size rotors is without stability control 296mm and the other one iswith stability control 318mm . So Iam confused which size should I order? I didn't think our trucks had stability control .

Sorry I dont really keep up with this thread but you might just have to go measure yours to be sure. I ended up getting the wrong sized rotors on our 4runner.

296mm to inches is 11.65 and the 318 to inches is 12.51

nevermind found it......maybe by stability control they mean abs? I would use camelback.com find the part# for your truck then use that part# and do an Amazon search. I cant be a whole lot of help as my rig has tundra breaks, but I don't have ABS. that's the only thing I could think they mean by stability control

Measure your current rotors and get the same ones. We don't have stability control.

Thank you for the response, that's what I thought. I know that our trucks don't have the ability control but yet do have the ABS. So I will have to call or check with Camelback Toyota

You rock Robert. I appreciate you doing the research and helping me out. It's just frustrating sometimes because I do ask questions on 1st Gen and I never get a response unless I get frustrated by not getting a response. But this is what Tacoma world is for is to help each other out and if your of you guys had help me out I appreciate that

no problem....sometimes I'm apprehensive to answer a question...especially if I'm not 100% on the answer....now if you had the exact same truck as me...would be to easy:D

best answer I would give is TUNDRA upgrade:p jk jk

Napa shows two sizes for 6 lug too, but I do not have ABS and pretty sure mine are 12.6" rotors too. I would measure yours just to make sure

I would love to do the turn to upgrade but I really don't do any Towing so I really don't need it and the truth of the matter is I ordered the 296 mm from RockAuto already so I'm hoping I ordered the right ones if not I'll send them back. My existing rotors that have 140,000 miles on them are warped so I bought drilled and slotted, they are made by power stop

Yeah I'm thinking the stability control was supposed to be abs. I just didn't feel like tearing it down to measure them. Oh well I'll just send them back and exchange them
