I actually had to do some work today! the guy I work with, called out, and I had to do all the work.

but I learned that work is sponsoring happy hour at World of Beer. Sucks I dont really drink. But Ill go check out the ladies

Holy crap!!!

That is dang near double my mortgage...well it is more than double if you are figuring principal and interest payments only, not including what I pay into escrow for insurance and property tax every year.

I'm sitting on nearly a third of an acre with about 2900 Sq ft of living space, and a 3 car garage!

 

It's the area man! Like I said earlier though, we get about $3,800 a month in housing allowance from the military, so no worries there.

 

That's pretty dang good!! You can probably cover all your utilities too and still have a hefty chunk of change left from that allowance!

I hear ya though, home ownership has its perks, but it is not cheap! It nickel and dimes you to death!! There is always something that needs monetary attention.

 

Yeah it's nice! There are many perks of a dual military marriage.
