August 21 Total Solar Eclipse Trip

So...Anyone interested in heading up to the Oregon/Idaho Border area on August 21 for the solar total eclipse? I will be on a trip to mammoth/convict lake area that week (Aug 15-19) and the people i'll be with are bailing back to SoCal on the 19th. I was thinking about heading north for the eclipse. It happens around noon August 21st. My plan was to leave Mammoth area on the 19th drive halfway, camp out somewhere then into the eclipse area on Sunday the 20th and camp out for the eclipse...then bail right afterwards camp somewhere that night and drive the rest of the way home on the 22nd. I have an RTT now so that's where i'll be living out of for the whole week. If you interested let me know and if you have ideas of places to camp along the way, put it out there. On a quick look of the map we could actually take 395 straight to Mt Vernon Oregon which in right on the centerline of the eclipse. LMK if you are interested.

 

Pretty sure they are gay though...i mean it is T4R afterall....
