Can't pull the trigger on a CAI yet. I just don't see the total benefit other than the sound.

Completely understand that. The cai i have does seem to make the truck more responsive, less hesitant, but the differences are really only noticeable when flooring it. When passing someone or taking off at a stop light.... I LOVE it... The sound and it just feels like it takes off faster...

Worth 300? Meh? I'm not disappointed i bought it by any means... but it's also not something I'd say everyone should go buy either...

How you liking the SS? It's next on my list.

I got my K&N for $200 and not disappointed at all after 8 months. Little louder than I would like but it does help. Expecting my catback in the next 3 or 4 days and hope the 2 compliment each other.

Said I wasn't going to do it but I did anyway. After putting dynamat extreme on all doors and back wall I still have road noise from the back. Wasn't going to do back floor but there's no padding or anything. Pulled everything out and finished it up. Next week, SSLL Pro deadening mat on entire floor.

    Then that's it. I'm done!!!!

Drive 30 to 40+ mph down those white gravel roads like in Colorado, you'd be glad they're there! The rocks love to chip paint! But if you just ride the pavement I'd guess you don't need them!

Wow. You still had road noise after installing all of that with Dynamat? Question...I am going to do the dynamat as well, do you know if the Extreme Dynamat Xtreme Bulk Pack Heat & Sound Deadening really works for Heat and Sound or if it really is the same product as the Dynamat Xtreme Sound Deadening stuff. One is black and the other is silver but there are so many mixed reviews. Also, do you recommended a Dynaliner or DynaPad

No I only had the back wall done before. I just did back floor and inside storage compartment areas. The dynamat extreme dose vibration noise mostly but will dampen a little. That why I'm going with the pad for noise. I'm not looking to do heat. That would be the Dynaliner but you will need dynamat along with it for noise I think. I haven't done this for 20yrs and products have really changed. I'm learning all over again...hope that helps a little?

Wow, looks great! Super shiney. I like the stock wheels with the white letters. What lift did you go with?

I did some looking into the bulk extreme and heat. I think it just has a little thicker aluminum foil on it for heat. Not really sure. I didn't answer your other question about dynapad or liner. If you want to stop heat use the liner. If you want to stop noise use dynapad...
