400 miles last week - with a rack and a pelican mounted. The wind noise was there, but it wasn't intolerable at all.

Mine was delivered yesterday and I finished the install today. I'm pretty happy with it! It looks like the noise trim won't be in for a while, but I did get my rack in 8 weeks (bare alum cab rac).

Just tested mine on the highway, little bit of noise when I get upwards of 70 mph but its not bad and def worth it. And I've got the noise trim coming eventually.

Mounted the lightbar and I have a little bit of noise but nothing compared to my tacoma or even the old roof rack. I actually never realized how loud my tires were before this rack since I couldn't hear them whine over the wind.

Overall, super satisfied on that point.

I guess I'll do a small review and comparison to my frontrunner rack.

Overall, I rank both prinsu and frontrunner an 8/10. Both are great racks.

Prinsu beats FR in price pretty handily. My full rack was cheaper than my 3/4 rack from FR.

Prinsu beats FR in style (personal opinion). I like the fairing look on a full length rack.

Both are pretty similar in customer service. FR is probably slightly quicker, but some of that is due to the transition to CBI.

    Prinsu beats FR in modularity.

FR beats Prinsu in design testing (it would seem). FR doesn't release their product until it is perfect and exactly how they want it. Where I see this lacking on the rack that was just installed on the rack is the wind fairing.

First, we tried to lower the wind fairing to the lowest setting so that the light bar behind could shine through the cutout. The problem was that the fairing would contact the roof so it could not be lowered past even the highest position. Sergio decided that we could cut the fairing. It took a couple of tries, but we ended up cutting 13/16" off the bottom of the fairing. Great idea, would work great but if you use the bar that comes with it, the actual bar touches the roof. So there is no way to put the bar on the lowest setting even without the fairing.

Luckily, @zscott provides a single bar for the very back of the 4runners since the sharkfin antenna gets blocked without it.

We bolted the fairing to that bar and mounted it up. Worked fine and the lightbar just barely clears. Overall, a success!

Couldn't have gotten it done without @GHOST SHIP. We are just hoping that @CBI Offroad Fab and @zscott hear this and fix this issue.

It would be a lot cleaner if we didn't have to cut into the logo, but we had no choice. If Prinsu designs this properly, they can make it so the logo is clean and sits in a different spot, as well as allowing 4runner owners to run lightbars cleanly without having to cut their new rack!

I'm really happy with the rack. It looks awesome and I can't wait to really use it!

I do need to grab another single crossbar from you Zach since the other one now holds the fairing.

Here are some crappy pics. I have been taking shitty cell phone pics when lighting is at it's worst so sorry... I'll take better ones soon.

This one is sideways, but you get the point. It shows the pieces cut off.

Filling the t-channels you aren't using (including the ones on the bar the deflector is mounted to). having the deflector on it's lowest position, moving the first bar back a few inches (or in my case I removed it altogether as the 5 or 6 I have on there are more than enough for my needs). My rack drove me nuts when I first installed it, but after the tweaking the noise is about as quiet as I think you'll ever get for a rack like this unless you just want some aero crossbars and those aren't highly functional. Noise is always slightly there, but nothing you don't quickly get used to once you get it dialed in with some tinkering.

Love the rack, pretty sure it's the primary kicker that turns heads everywhere I go in the truck and is bomber AF. I catch people stopping in parking lots all the time walking around the truck with an eye on the rack and cover I have on the bed.

Having a double row LED bar really doesn't help. I need to replace it with a single.

I've had my rack on for about two months now on my daily driver Tacoma. As far as wind noise, with all the mods it was there before the rack and it's still there with it - not any louder in my particular application.

Try those door protection trims from Autozone or Pep Boys or Amazon. I've been using them on mine.
