The tip for Gooseberry was huge man! thanks again. we decided to cut over to the ridge sooner than the spot you mentioned, just so we had less backtracking to do in the morning. you really cant pick a bad place out there tho. Between Bryce and Zion gave us more trouble for sure. We couldnt find a spot, we were getting Hangry.. and running out of road before we got to Zion. We didnt have service either so couldnt check the area for food, possible camp spots, etc. We finally made it to Mt Carmel Junction... knowing it was the last spot before Zion. Stopped at Thunderbird for food, but they had a long wait due to tourists like us, and we were running out of daylight. BUT.. we did have service.. so, we made a quick decision and said F food and continued on to the last couple trails before Zion and boom. found that one overlooking the junction. worked out perfectly.

Could one of you guys do a "build" thread on that 12v swamp cooler that was posted here?
It could be a TW hit!

Sup people, hope all your 4th of July festivities were suitably fun.

I spent my weekend in LA... being a colossal nerd at Anime Expo. Holy hell it was packed, I spent almost 2 hours in line the first day. IMO way too packed, but it was still fun. Lots of nerdy stuff, and I also got to meet friends from all over that I've played video games with for years.

So much swag... I bought some Japanese air fresheners for the Taco. I take good enough care of mine that it still has the new car smell over a year later, but I'm a sucker for how good some of these smelled. You put 'em under your passenger seat which is probably nice for AZ to keep it from baking too hard.

There were also some cool dudes who had a booth with guns & anime related stuff. "Weapons grade waifus" was the name and they have cool patches and stickers and stuff, I got a patch, their logo sticker, and one of their lewd pin up girl stickers that I'm not 100% sure I'm brave enough to stick on my Taco.

The rest of the stuff I got is super high on the nerd power-level or definitely NSFW so I won't share.:p:bananadead:

They make it in a patch too, multiple colors.

They also have some pretty lewd ones I think I might put on my kit someday, not like anyone sees it when I'm out shooting in the desert...

Yah, that's what they looked like, I could only imagine if they were what a pain in the ass it would be to move it all.
