Don't think anyone's said this yet, but the pitch/roll and tire pressure sensors are pretty kick ass.

How does this sorcery work? How do the photons transfer wirelessly into the battery? Wireless charging has always confused me

The turn signal on the back of the mirrors. When I see the reflection in the rear window of the car in front of me I know I'm such a putz.

If one of these wasn't available, I'd be in a Nissan.

And I am think you would be hating that Nissan just as I am. Even a manual can't fix the things wrong with the frontier. Seats are comfy, but that's about it. I am driving one as a rental right now, truck is in for recall. God I want my truck back!

My friend has a Frontier. It feels small compared to my Tacoma.

I love the keyless entry and touch lock/unlock. I wish it was on the passenger door as well and came standard with auto locking and locking tailgate. But I bought it because I wanted a 4WD. So that was the real reason I bought the truck.

It's tiny in comparison. I have dclb toyota and driving a dcsb nissan. I think i could park the nissan in tbe bed of the tacoma with my bed extender. Yes it feels that small.

Basic ass A/C controls. I don't want to screw around with touchscreen garbage, smashing my finger against a screen 20 times because I want the truck to cool down. I'm grateful for my two dials: how fast and how cold.

Also, I couldn't live without my quad cab.

If you understand that electric fields and electrons influence each other each other, it's pretty simple. The charger takes electricity in your truck and makes it shake back and forth in an antenna in the charger, making a vibrating electromagnetic field (EMF, think radio waves) which emanates from the antenna into that void under your dash where you put your phone. Your phone has an antenna in it, too, attached to the battery. The vibrating EMF makes the electrons move in the battery antenna, and they move right into the battery, reversing the chemical reactions that discharge your battery, thus recharging your battery. Of course, your phone has to have the battery charging antenna, otherwise it won't work.

It's essentially the same process that makes a crystal radio work. The radio station turns sound into EMF in the form of radio waves from their antenna and the waves shake the electrons in your crystal radio antenna, and in turn they make a diaphragm in your earbud vibrate, producing sound.
