Where? Checked all over. Even in the parking lots. I didn't know any other way of telling everyone I was there

I parked almost in front of a silver access cab with RI plates with a lift and wheels. I think it had sliders on it too. It was in the Christmas tree shop area. Anyone here?

I'm so calling the feds. An R34 in the US...you rebel you.

What always surprised me about the R34 was how small it was in person. The only one I've ever seen in person was at one of the Kaizen open houses probably back in 2011-12. I wonder if that was it.

No we have had a few customers come in with different 32/33/34's over the last few years. Some were complete headaches others were super clean. We just shipped one off to the other side of the country that was immaculate - the owner bought it before it was even a known legend in the US (aka before fast and furious) and has been babying it since. There are a handful that we have worked on that are legal - not all R34's are illegal as the public automatically assumes. Those that are legal lay below the radar. Despite what some say none of the 34's are owned by the shop. At the moment we currently have the following shop vehicles/projects: Evo 9 / Evo 10 Time Attack / R35 GTR aka Godzilla / Focus RS / BMW M4 / Viper ACR Track Spec'd.

Are those the Motorex cars that came in under the R33 umbrella?

Every other way I've seen the R34 come in has come under fire (the Kaizo cars, shells reassembled, etc). People get state registrations but federally they're up a creek.

My understanding is that there was a small amount of R34 and R32s that got federalized by Motorex prior to their fiasco using the R33 basis and have a clear bill of health. Was there another way?

The secondaries are vacuum operated (FYI- if you're checking to see if they open when you open the throttle all the way with the engine off, they won't move. It has to be running and it has to be in gear and under a load, so you'd have to put the boat in the water and have somebody watch the carb while somebody else ran the throttle), so I'm assuming you've checked for leaks in the vacuum system? Check to make sure the throttle shafts aren't overtightened; they should be solidly connected but with a little bit of free play.
If your vac sys is in good shape and the secondaries still aren't kicking in, I'd start with disconnecting the choke spring and linkage, because the secondaries won't open if there's literally ANY tension on the choke spring. If that fixes it replace the choke spring and the electric choke switch.

New studs and gasket is all it likely needs this time currently it's a vacuum issue. Might port and polish while it's apart the casting marks are annoying me haha

No that's just where they told us to go. Most of us have met each other before so we have each other's number. When we go next time just send me a PM and I'll send you my number so that we can meet up. Sorry about that

Sweet. Lots of people look at a carb and go 'uhhhh.....' because properly tuning one is half science and half witchcraft.

I grew up on 350 chevy blocks and old outboards so I'm okay with carbs thankfully
