    When you installed your bed stiffners, did you follow the install vid @Blackout14 did and use a step bit? Or just a regular drill bit?

    Also I just realized I have to coat them first, so those won't be installed in time lol

    I used a series of bits stepping up to the right size. Lol. This was before I bought a step bit. I'd use that just to save a little time

    I have plenty of those at home! But the rustoleum black will take at least a day to cure :( so by Monday I will get them installed and post pics :)
    Good to know, ill see if snap-on has a step bit on the truck when they come by the shop today, I need one for home

    After I got it, I realized how useful they are and now have a fat and skinny step bit with a huge number of "steps" available for all purposes.

    Im a wrenching noob and was worried that the bit would walk even if I center punched it due to the size of the bit... im lame i know :)

    lol I know all too well how much of a pain drilling frames can be. I had a kid with a focus st drop off the car with a cobb stage 3 kit. I had to drill the front of the frame for the new, much larger intercooler. I went through so many bits and cans of oil to finally make it through!
