There's athread with some other creative mount options for the SG. I tried mine where your's is at and did not like it there as it covered up the idiot lights, and, well, nobody likes an uninformed idiot ;)

I had mine mounted up by the rear view mirror until I got the mirror relocator, then it had to move over to the upper left side of the headliner/windshield area. I used a belt clip that I removed from a .99 tapemeasure that I found, and attached it to the SG case, then used two pieces of the hook side of velcro to stabilize the sg on the headliner after it's clipped using the belt clip.

    Always. You know this.

He should know better than anyone. He sees me in person fairly often... the sass is real at all times.

    You totally get me.

    And good morning.

Eh. That's what happens when you fill the tank on the way to work... then after work, drive two hours each way for dinner. I'll fill her this morning. :D

And also, there are tonnnnnns of miles left. When the light goes on I've got 60+ miles left. I actually looked this up, did not test out.

Ooh... that's a good idea. I'm not in love with where it's currently located, but I pushed it far enough back that it's not covering anything, so I don't think that'll be an issue.

I also have the mirror riser bracket, so that probably wouldn't work. Also, I'll eventually want to install a dashcam up there anyway, so I'm not even going to try.

And I don't think the upper left headliner spot would work for me, either, because that's where my Bluetooth microphone is mounted. I could move it further over to the right, I suppose. It's a possibility.

For sure worth it. I guess I haven't really sat and thought through all the things I'll need included. I should prepare for future needs too. I'm not rebuilding this later when I decide to add something....
