2017 DCSB SR Convenience package. Out the door for $29.9 (in VA). I emailed all the VA and couple Maryland dealers to get quotes (let them know I was comparing to several others)...Before that dealers in my area were asking $33 before taxes, title, tags and all the other crap which would have bumped up $1400. Good luck. I have found always negotiate from an OTD number.

Because of Toyota giving out a $1000 incentive, I'm getting DCSB TRD OR, with Premium and Technology Package, Tow package, All Weather Mats+Sill Protection (I'm getting is because of sills), and wheel locks for cool $35,969.
I had to travel to Easton Pa, but to me it's (almost) worth it.
    So, yay to me!

Edit: price with dealer fee $35,969 before ttl

Ok, so I finally brought home a 2017 TRD OR MGM, with Premium and Technology, All Weather Mats, wheel locks and added bed mat. Price $35,891+138 Dealer fee= $36,029.
That's the price before trade in, and Tax and DMV fees

Maybe not the very best of deals, but good enough for me

$1000 inventive on Tacoma sure is nice since they rarely offer incentives on these trucks. Congrats!

About ready to pull trigger on a 2017 Tacoma Off Road (7545) allocation with 6 speed manual, tow package and all weather floor liners/sill protectors. I used the email quoting/purchasing method described elsewhere in the (mostly) excellent forum. MSRP is $35,113 + tax. My best quote is $32,724 + tax (all in/out the door) which I found to be cheapest by almost $700 based on the quotes I have received thus far.
I was adamant that I did not want anything except the tow package...and this one was the closest I could find.
Thoughts? Is this a decent/fair deal in everyone's experience/opinion? Thank you.

Decent deal. I paid $34,800 for TRD off road auto trans 4x4 back in November 2016.
It's hard to find a TRD off road Tacoma so bare with only the tow package. The most stripped down TRD tacomas I see in my area have the tow package and floor mats as options.
My truck had tow package, tonneau cover, floor mats, mud flaps, and exhaust tip as options and I only wanted the tow package but they don't sell tacomas that bare unless you order one and they are less likely to give you a good deal if you aren't buying a truck that is already on their lot so I decided to buy my truck at their offered price instead of ordering one.
The tonneau cover has come in handy but I think the other additional options are a waste of money, granted those extra options only adds $400 to the cost of the vehicle.
I say go for it. I'm curious to see what people are paying now from what I paid back in November but it seems dealers are starting to come down on prices a little bit. Toyota hasn't announced the 2018 tacomas yet but most likely the only upgrades will be safety sense and a key fob that locks the tail gate instead of using a physical key and some other subtle changes. There most likely will not be any changes to the engine and transmission for the 2018 model year.

If you don't care about safety sense then I say go ahead and buy a 2017 right now.

I say good deal and you found a manual..some people dont even know Toyota is offering these Tacomas with a manual they are pretty hard to find. I was somewhere between $35-36k for 2017 TRD MGM w/tech package, tonneau cover, weather mats, door sills and side step bar (which I hated because they were chrome).

That's a good deal. I have a 2017 manual TRD Off Road 4x4 I bought about a month ago for $33,700. It came with a TRD Pro skid plate and exhaust which added about $1000. I had been quoted for one with out the skid plate and exhaust for about the same as your quote, but it was 500 miles away. You won't regret it.

    $13k worth of mods?!
I don't see that much money in this truck. They added a $3-4K lift, $700 for TRD pro wheels, fox shocks 500-600, TRD pro grille $350-400 and that's about it. About $6k worth of mods tops.

I bet there will be someone crazy enough to buy it at that price though.
