It was nice here too but now it seems like a little thunderstorm is coming... i am done washing but want to polish the truck too. I'll start a piece at a time and finish later if rain starts. You should do it

I got distracted and ended up wrestling our headboard up the stairs. What a hell of an adventure that was. Right off the bat I had cut a lower board off to get it to pivot around. THEN it was still too tall. Ended up cutting part of the top off too. Way too whooped to wash the truck.

 

Damn furniture! I don't understand why there is always something that doesn't fit where you want it to be!

 

I know! Seems to be the same thing with the truck at times.

 

I think I can count on my finger how many things I bought that was plug and play and that I had to make it fit... it's driving me nuts!

 

Tap it out and use it as a shifter knob to commemorate the occasion......lol



On another note, the hunt begins today for the parts to do the 12-15 front end conversion...on the cheap hopefully

Question Sensai. Not that a deciple is question the teacher of logic but.....why not cut a piece from the bottom of the headboard where it wouldnt be seen?

 

Its a "modded" headboard. Stock headboards are boring and suck

She was there with me! She was my partner trying to get this thing up, and this was our best option.

Unfortunately that wouldn't work. This isn't the type of headboard that just bolts to the bed, but one that's a structural part. If I would have cut the bottom, it would be all I even.

 

Just drill out the center on both pieces and put in a insert and screw it back together with a piece of all thread, clean up the edges and good as new.

You Could drill a hole in the center of both pieces and use an dowel to friction fit them back together as well.
