Photo Bucket BS

I've found out that all of my pictures on this forum and some others as well, and including pictures on some Craigslist ads are gone and have been replaced with what you see in this thread. When I went to www.photobucket.com/p500 they want $399.99 per year for third party hosting of my pictures.

Is this a joke, or has my photo bucket account been hacked, and has anyone else had this happen to them from photo bucket.

Well that sucks. I'm not paying that much when there are so many free alternatives.

 

pretty sure got hacked, some of mine work, but most don't, its a good thing i have back up copies. Goodbye photobucket

Got an email from them today "...we noticed that you have been using photo bucket for 3rd party hosting."

Confirmed that all of my linked images are being blocked and as previously mentioned they want a ton of money to "enable" them again. Time to move on, any recommendations?

 

same here,, all images not working,, not paying them a dime.......bullshit..

 

I use Google Photos for my online picture cloud. My mom uses Drop Box but I'm pretty sure you have to pay to get a certain amount of space. I have all my pictures on a solid physical hard drive though.

 

I've seen on here that Flickr is a good app to use too but I still haven't learned it.

 

www.postimage.org is what I use now most of time.

 

Google is what I'll be using. I've been using Photobucket for at least 10 years, what a pos move, it's a good thing all my pictures are backed up

Okay, this works. It doesn't have the editing tools like Photobucket but that's easily solved elsewhere. Thanks for the link.

Yes. It works really well. I uploaded 5 images in the time it took for one at Photobucket.

 

Okay that's weird. My first test image showed up now but it's not on photobuckets URL. I didn't move it.

 

Amazon offers free photo cloud storage for Prime members.
