    I know that 4runner. Has well over 300k on it, but the guy takes care of it. Started as an auto limited model and he slowly rebuilt it to what it is today.

    Those are steps, NOT sliders. A proper slider must, at the very least, bolt to the frame.

    Yeah, mine mount directly to the frame, I was just curious to see if anybody tried these and ask how they held up. In my experience that area of the body can't take to much load.

    You know what, for casual offroading they're fine if you just want them for looks. If you plan on crawling over any rocks and actually sliding along them, steer clear. I rocked a set of those Amazon $100 tube steps on my prerunner for a long time, high centered a bunch of times, whacked them on rocks in the desert and suffered zero body damage. Surprisingly the bolts came right out of the body, but the bolts from the mounts to the steps themselves were all pretty much bent to shit or sheared off lol
