Just finished a deal on getting a trd pro today! Will pick up some time next week and Im pretty stoked. 2nd taco for me, the first being a 2010 prerunner which is basically the family truck now and has been nothing but reliable and great to us. Had mixed feelings about the pro when I first saw it in person, but it has grown on me the last couple months the more I've read and watched videos on it. Looks sporty and performs well and also to top it off you can put miles on them and still get a good return. Currently have a 2017 Raptor that I love but I've came to the conclusion that most trails out here in El Paso Tx aren't wide enough and its definitely not the best DD on a regular basis. I know the Tacoma will not have the power that the raptor has but I'll like to see how composed it is in deep sand and high speed trails compared to the raptor. Also, what is the biggest tire you can fit without rubbing and who would be interested in purchasing the Goodyear wranglers I'll be taking off :p few pics sent to me of the truck along with its new friend waiting back at home

Congrats on your new Pro! Did you get the MT or AT?
You'll have to be patient adjusting to less power since you're coming from a Raptor. The Pro suspension is near excellent.

    Enjoy it.

Hello the biggest tire that will fit your stock rim is a 285/70/16 however if you off road on hard trails would I recommend 275/70/16. I personally use the 275 on my car without any rubbing whatsoever. Here is a picture with 275's on it. I have a TRD PRO MT.

AT. Mt would be sweet but this was the closest one to me without a markup. It's expected but I'm sure there's other avenues to get a little more power. 2.5's seem more than enough for that size of a truck

Thanks and sweet truck man! Love the k02's and is probably the front runner along with toyo open country M/T's. How's the truck perform on trails since switching to the bfg's?

It does just fine on moderate trails. I don't do anything crazy however at one of my W-TX properties I have a couple of really bad trails up the hill. I can tell that the 275's didn't have any rubbing loaded with 25 bags of corn. I don't have any pictures of that place but next time I will load some corn I will take some pictures to see how bad that place really is. I don't know how much of a difference does make, however the 275 are D rated and the 265 are E rated. Since I took the picture that you saw I switch to wider F5's wheels but that was a personal preference not that was something wrong with the original wheels.

Looks like toyo m/t's are out of the subject. Not many tire choices for the stock rim's. Will be going with 275 K02's. Thanks for the advice. Liking those marker lights in your grill x2
