There are new Dakars out.

 

Id get 5100s with 886. The nitrochargers have an internal bumpstop that bottoms out if you go over a speed bump.

 

I do not. I planned on doing that, but nope

 

I do have a very used set of 5100s for the front if anyone is interested. They seem to work fine

 

Plus ill have my stock uca's, front spacer lift , and stock strut assembly available if anyone is interested.

Those 886s are going to ride really hard until you get some extra weight on them.

 

so no one does 887s with a winch / bumper???

asking for a friend.....

 

887s will sag like a mawlfudger under the weight

 

considering this is the bumper I was looking at..... this is perfect....

any sagging? any issues at all? how does it ride?

I was looking at the low pro bumper from US Off Road... so it's not TOO heavy

 

It sagged a little after install. No more then 1/2". I haven't measured since I installed it a few months ago. I think it rides great but I can only compared it to the pre loaded stock springs with All Pro I hate before which was rough.

 

can I put 888s on a 2nd gen???

Not sure if the welds are crap or the powdercoat is

 

I emailed the guy yesterday and he just got back with me and he said he offers a warranty on it, guarantees against structure failure (obviously not including accidents or bashing the bumper) but it covers if I'm winching and the welds fail....

who knows.... if I pick up this Tacoma, I might try it out...
