There's an older thread on this, but I didn't want to bring it back up. I went in for an alignment and my annual inspection today, and they were investigating a clunk I've had for about a month on the passenger side. Turns out the SPC ball joint is bad and has a fair amount of play. I have just under 3 weeks to get this issue solved so I can pass my inspection.

I've had the UCAs on my truck for about 20k miles and just under 15 months. Boot is intact and seems clean-ish. Should I contact SPC about this issue, or just order a new set of ball joints?

Other option is just switching out to a different UCA system all together. Should I just take the leap to Total Chaos arms? Sorry for lack of pics, there's just nothing of note to photograph.

Sounds good, thanks. I think I'll probably end up upgrading in the near future. My initial alignment with these was a fucking nightmare.

Maybe the alignment tech didn't understand how to adjust them
    My guy had no problem
    Good luck
