Wouldn't recommend it. It'd be too much lift and would be hell aligning it and on your CVs.

 

Dont buy it.

 

Truck starts fine from cold start, and it start fine if I'm running quick errands. When I let the truck warm up and then let it sit and partially cool down, say for an hour or 2, and then try to start it then it takes a few seconds to turnover and start. I haven't had it NOT start on me yet.

Someone TW saw the vid I posted cleaning my MAF and mentioned that I need to also clean inside of the cylinder on the piece because that is where the actual MAF elements are found. I did that this morning and just ran a few errands to warm the truck up and will try to start it in an hour and see if that fixed it.

makes sense.... although it WOULD be with a winch bumper / steel lined winch which would undoubtedly bring it down a little....

Ahh, gotcha. Thought I might have the same issue, but maybe not. It just smells like my truck is running really rich when I first start it in the morning.

886s with a 1/2" top plate spacer would be best. Then you get 3", but don't have crazy nose dive or body roll with all the extra weight.

Anyone got a scanner to read engine codes?

 

If you can't find someone, a BT code reader can be had for like $15 on Amazon.

 

Yeah I might just buy one. I thought Advance Auto does scans but they don't. I might try Autozone too.

 

You can buy one, but you have to read that entire thread first.

 

Both Advance and Autozone do free scans (just to pull the code). Might not be all locations though.
