    Mine's lined up, and road force balanced twice now...I'm still getting a minor shimmying when you get up to 70ish. They didn't take much weight at all and don't wobble at all, just a minor shake which seems to come and go. I've rotated with no change in behavior.

    Stock TRDOR. They balanced well...I'm guessing they just have some minor deformation which causes a slight out of round at speed. I'd bet using the prior mentioned wheel beads would make it perfect.

    Well.... Turns out I have a bad tire. It wobbles. Wheel is nice and straight and the tire just wobbles. The shop actually showed me video of it clearly wobbling on the machine. It will balance, but the wobble will always be there, and always have tire shake. . And falken will not warranty it! They have a terrible warryanty. They called em on it. Learned a little about tire brands though. Falken is what you call a "private Party" tire. and they contract out to whoever will build the tire. They give em a mold and they can be made anywhere by anybody and any other brand. So quality control pretty much goes out the window. Your tire may be made in one country, and my tire may be made somewhere else. Mine were made in Thailand. They said they've just always had issues with falken in the past, that's why they don't normally deal with em unless customer requests. Needless to say.. I will NOT be buying another set of these tires in the future. But now I'm stuck with wobbles and shakes that I cant do anything about. I'm considering trying to find someone who has 1 tire in stock, making sure its straight, and putting that wobbler on my spare. Ive only got around 5k on the tires.

    Who did you purchase the tires thru and who installed them?

    @WILDPEAK can you shed some light on this?

    The shop ive used for years just got em through their supplier. My tires are made in Thailand by Sumitomo tires. They were same price or cheaper then what the local discount tire wanted. They wanted to add all kinds of fees and crap, and didn't want to move my pressure sensors.. so I went back to my usual place... No issues. until now. Well,, ive had shake since install.

    Nearly everything in this post is inaccurate, and Lthompson is not to blame for the inaccurate information. Falken as well as Dunlop for example are brands of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, a global leader in tire sales and manufacturing, ranked 6th in the world for new tire sales volume. FALKEN WILDPEAK AT3Ws and WILDPEAK MTs are currently manufactured in one of Sumitomo Rubber's highly advanced manufacturing facilities in Rayong Thailand, Sumitomo Rubber Thailand LTD. Falken brand tires are ONLY manufactured in a Sumitomo Rubber Industries facility. All of the Falken tires are designed by Sumitomo Rubber Industries in Kobe, Japan and tested in by Sumitomo Rubber North America at a variety of facilities and proving grounds across the USA.

    Whether the tire was out of specification directly from the factory or damaged in transit, nearly every brand including Falken offers a 30-day ride guarantee in case the installer doesn't screen the issue before the end consumer has a poor experience.

    @Lthompson You have a few options to resolve the problem as it sounds the installer is not helping out with your issues. I recommend calling our quality assurance department directly:
    FALKEN QUALITY ASSURANCE

    Phone: 800-723-2553 Option 2 @ Main Menu (M-F 8-5 PST)
    E-fax: 909-244-1617

    Please inform me privately or the entire board of who the installer is.
    You did the installer no favor here :)

    Sad to see so many having issues... I love the look and price.

    I'm wanting to go with 265/75/16s and was looking at these... 265 /75 R16 116T SL RB

    How do you tell if they are "P" or "lt" ?

    Any better options under $150 each?

    The 116 load rating most likely is not a LT (c or e load). An e load typically has a rating of 121. Usually a 116 is an extra load (xl) which has slightly more ply than a standard load (SL).

    A= 2 ply
    B = 4
    C = 6
    D = 8
    E = 10

    C/d/e are considered LT (light truck). A/b are considered p (passenger).
