Well, today I installed a set of led running lights all incognito like in my useless hood scoop. I guess it is good for something! I also did some more work to my over-the-factory bed cover cargo rack. The rack is a POS I picked up cheap, but the mounts I made for it are not. Custom-fabbed a set of mount using the factory tie downs inside the bed, which come over the top of the bed and out, so the cover can stay on while using the rack. The rack will only really be used for camping trips and vacations when I need a little extra room for luggage or coolers or whatever can get wet.

I really like how the lights turned out. I'm sure some wont like it, but it's mine, and I don't have to care what anyone else thinks.:D

How did you replace the lights for license plate? Removed the housing? I tried and was impossible to quiz the tabs to remove the light holders.

Use a long screwdriver to push in tabs of the housing. I had at least 3 bleeding knuckles before I figured that out.

What did you use to mount the shovel?! Achieves the mgreat look/utility and seems to require minimal effort

Like several others on here I LED'ed the interior and license plate lights and plastiderped the cheese grater. I kept the chrome around the grater to flow with the rear bumper and emblems and think it came out pretty clean. I also don't hate chrome as much as some on here... but cheese grater vibe is no more. Any suggestions on LED headlights and fogs?

I used this YouTube video to help me... it's a cramped space but I got it. My wife's smaller hands expedited the process too
