You should start buying sets now. Have a stockpile for when he's ready. If he never catches the Lego bug then you can just build them.

 

Im not the only one! Haha I only get the Stars Wars ones but I have a good bit of them I'll have to get a picture, haven't done one in a while usually save em for snow or rain days.

 

Post up the collection. I also "mostly" collect Star Wars.

 

Our first "Star Wars" set. He picked it out. I wanted a vehicle one, he wanted this one. Was fun to put together with him. He was so excited.

 

A great pick for classic characters. Who doesn't want a Darth Maul. Now you need to get Vader's transformation. An inexpensive way to get him and the Palpatine.

I just got this shipment in the mail. As you can see I like Star Wars.

 

Me n a buddy saw these on the internetz this morning. Then in a store around lunch. Figured it was a sign. We each got a set.

 

I am looking at a couple of sets in this line. They are a great base for building your own expo MOC.

 

Saw these sets too at the store. Couldn't convince my son to get one.
Not to worry though...he will have some sooner than later.

(He is still playing with that set we just built. Guess it is a hit.)

 

I have half a mind to go buy a 2nd before they are gone.

I have several other sets that are Uninog-ish that are Expo Rated by my terms.

I try to catch all of mine on sale nowadays.

Do you buy from a specific place more than any other or just keep an eye out for sales?
I have a Lego connection where I may be able to get some stuff for cheap.

 

Been WalMart for the most part.
Amazon for small add-ons and misc.
Target was where we found the 2 today.

WalMart has actually had best price on most of what I have gotten.

 

I got one more set today. Found it for cheap locally. Now I have to collect Hobbit sets along with LotR.

 

are there going to be good lego deals on Prime day today?
