    There's so much I hate about NC but the outer banks are the shit. Still looking forward to getting back out West next spring.

    Do you have to have a pass there to drive around? I've always been curious.

    Years ago.

    It was a hard 20 miles of beach driving (30-50 mph) just to get to this trail. Photo was taken from my buddies 95' T100

    Too many to list.
    Put her to work. Got some materials to replace the roof on the shed and I ended up dehydrated with cramps. Talk about painful :anonymous:

    Nope, you can rent beach cabins or you can beach camp on this particular island. I would prefer to just bring the RTT and kick it on the beach for free but we're with friends so we have a cabin. The ferry drops you off and you have free range of the island, but obviously you respect plants and wildlife.

    It was already installed on my truck when I bought it. But I didn't get to test drive it because it was deep in the showroom. So when I finally got to take off onto the highway the first time, it brought a smile to me. Looks nice too.

    @saundern

    You should come. I've been all over the US and there are few places you can get away with this. NC's one redeeming quality

    Looks amazing! I'm starting to make a list for when I get my RTT. This one will definitely be added to it since I'm not too far away, plus it's been forever since I've been at the OBX.

    Truck looks good! Have you done any under body work to prevent rust? I do an annual dunes trip to the coast and need to figure out something for the rust.

    I've always just hosed the undercarriage down at the car wash with the pressure washer as soon as I get back from the coast. Never had a problem with rust when I did that.

    I dont really have a rust problem. I've strippped and painted a few areas but overall no issues. Only drive on the beach once a year. Clean it reallly good when I get home
