If you're in the area (Oroville) try some Texas weedless plastics on lake Wyandotte. It's bank fishin but there's a right time at dusk when them skeeters come out. It's at this point that you hammer the shit out of those three to five pounders. Every other cast.

Awe yes low range idle in second gear on a long washboard road is mesmerizing!

Right now isn't a good idea. There will be national guard helicopters as well as cal fire dipping out of this lake. Its a repeat of three years ago only this time it's bigger!

What snorkel is better? I don't care about looks just reality of a working product. I do however prefer the looks of the wotefusi over the arb. Any input??

Both perform the same task, so it's really just about looks. Although I heard the wotefusi one had issues of the tube from the snorkel to the air box would collapse at sudden high rpm (pedal to the metal situations). Can't remember if it was only supercharged guys or not though but I believe they had a fix. T4R had some fixes for it in their thread about it.

This is the thread but couldn't tell you exactly where they talk about a solution.

My grandpa had a 65 fastback white on white with the 289 and a four speed. He was going to give it to me when I was 16 but had some financial problems and sold when I was 14. I think he got around $15 for it in mint condition:mad::(
