I dont care about extras at all to be honest... I'm going to put my own suspension etc... on.... I just care about reliability and how clean it is and price

 

How about 10 for a slider install and scan my truck to see if there it's throwing a code?

Looks nice man, btw I got my new shifter knob on with the extension. It's a little tall for now, but I think it's about 2 inches higher than I would like. Will be curious to see what your opinions are, I did have to drill out the bottom to get the extension to fit.

 

Yeah, mine came out the same. Think im just gonna return it, seems more hassle than its worth.

Does color matter? I used to own a black first gen and when it was clean I loved the color while the silver doesn't get noticeably dirty, but that color doesn't really appeal to me...I'm not feeling the lift so I wouldn't go for option "b."

 

Ah bummer man, sorry to hear that. I have to admit I have grown to like it with this epic shifter knob now.

I LOVE silver..... I HATE black. haha the 4Runner is black and it looks great for 15 minutes after I wash it.... other than that.... meh. haha

I would be taking the lift, wheels / tires etc... off the MGM one....

I'm leaning the silver one for right now, since it's owned by an old man and has service records and garage kept etc.... but we'll see....

 

Im suprised for that price point you cant find a newer body style second gen with less mileage. The price of tacos are ridiculous.

Get the silver, and swap your oem parts for whatever you want on mine, plus a little cash of course

If you like the 6speed (it can be quirky and takes some getting used to) and able to wait a while, i would be willing to sell. Need it for a little while though.
