Tragic news on my seat covers.

The FedEx truck from SO CAL to NOR CAL caught on fire. Probably my Wet Okole seat covers.

Anyone in NOR CAL waiting for a shipment should call both Wet Okole and Fed Ex to confirm.

Wet Okole is calling and filing a claim as only the shipper can do so. I hope they just sew me a new set and do so quickly.

Ok I have the whole rear out on my 2010 DC. I unbolted the passenger front seat and only have to disconnect the connectors. Which is my next question. Which connectors do I unplug? When I lifted the passenger seat I seen about 5 or so connectors. But I also seen a main wire that went under the carpet too. Is there one main connector under the carpet that I need to get too? Or is just under the seat that I need to worry about? If so which ones? Thanks!

Oh yeah my front seats have side airbags.

That looks really cool. I'm considering red w/black for my Barcelona Red '10 DC. Which red did you choose for the insets?

It might be easiest to just unplug the connectors from the seat. You may need to release some clips to get the harness plugs off of the seats. You do not NEED to do this. Just remove the side plastic from both seats. Screw in the back behind the cover, pull out at the back to release clip at top of oval, center of plastic and move forward to disengage slide mount at the front. Look at the center clip before putting it back in. Make sure the plastic lock clip is seated back to the plastic trim piece before you put it back on over the seat cover. If not you can damage the clip. The other think to watch is the straps. Route them under the seat but over the adjustment rails so the seat will not bind or cut them. Make sure you do not tangle them in the wires or put excessive pressure on them when you pull them snug. All of this can be done in the truck. You just need to stand on your head. :)

IMPORTANT NOTE: You are supposed to depower the airbag system before unplugging those connectors. Otherwise you could have an unintended deployment! Follow service information procedures. You should unhook battery and wait to be sure the system has discharged.

The centers are color number 15 "Red". I looked at the wine color but it was not as close as just regular red.

So is it uneccessary to remove all that? LOL....What you just explained makes it even more confusing. Its probably because I haven't really looked at whats on the bottom. Anyhow, thanks for explaining and will read this again tomorrow while Im looking at it.

So after I sat on some Wet Okoles today that were on a friend's truck I now want to shoot myself in the foot for not getting them. They feel so comfortable and soft!

Just got mine in! They look awesome! Did it without removing the seats, and I'd say it only took me about an hour.

Im doing the passenger seat right now and the carpeted part that covers the lower back side and has two clear clips that holds it to the bottom of the seat. Where did you place that part? Did you slip it up under the Wet Okole seat cover or slip it under the actual seat fabric or something else that Im missing? Thanks!

Well I finally got them in. There are some parts I would like to get tighter. I'll do that when I have more time. But for the most part they look BAD ASS. Here are some night shots, sorry it was already dark around here. The other thing too, my driver side doesnt slide back and forth smootly now but my passenger side does. So I gotta look under there and see whats causing it. Here are the pics for now.

Yeah, you unhook that, then fold it up the back of the seat. That will allow you to slip the material through the bottom of the seat. The covers have a new piece that you clip somewhere underneath the seat.
