    This is shaping up to be our biggest gathering yet :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:

    July 9th 2017 Tacos & Tacos (T&T) a.k.a. Cars & Coffee... AF...

    Last time was EPIC AF and we got to witness "Thee Chad" off road/crawl his bad bisch for the first time :bananadance::bananadance::headbang::bikewhoops:

    $5 per vehicle
    to park which goes to a charity/organization (see below). This also gets you a raffle ticket for a Autozone bucket of stuff and things. Additionally, this month, is a $150 ticket for 2 for a "brothers in blue bash" (info below)

    Organization Sponsored: Travis County Sheriff's Law Enforcement Association (TCSLEA)

    From C&C FB page:

    Well its time to announce the July beneficiary of our show! This month we will be hosting the TRAVIS COUNTY SHERIFF'S LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSOCIATION!!

    They will be bringing out some of their SWAT vehicles for you to check out up close and personal. This months raffle winner will also win a $150 ticket for two to attend the first ever "BROTHERS IN BLUE BASH" September 16th at the Austin Convention Center!

    The funds raised at this event will go to the TCSLEA Memorial Fund that provides support for families in need and to honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice serving their community that they were sworn to protect. A portion of the funds raised will also be utilized to assist the Travis County SWAT Team in order to provide them with premier training and technology which supports the safety and security of our community. TCSLEA Fraternal Order of Police was founded in September of 2001, represents over 700 members throughout the Austin area and donates to various charities within our community throughout the year.

    **As always, it is not expected for anyone to bring anything; i.e. food, drinks, stickers, patches, etc. Anything brought is greatly appreciated, but you are still allowed to partake even if you can't bring anything :cheers:**

    For those who haven't attended before, generally we all pitch in and bring various items for cooking bacon, tacos, bacon, coffee and... uh... bacon:dancingbacon:. It is a community effort and as stated above, you are not expected to bring anything. You are more than welcome to still enjoy a Taco, beverage and enjoy the company of others.

    If you would like to bring something, the general list (not definitive, just spit balling) is:

    Tortillas
    Cheese
    Bacon (lots :dancingbacon:)
    Eggs (also lots)
    Salsa
    Other condiments or snacks or food items
    Water
    Drinks
    Chairs

    T&T Part Deux: Hidden Falls (HF) Adventure Park Trip

    We are also planning to make a run to HF following our meetup for some off roading. Link to HF website: http://www.hiddenfallsadventurepark.com/

    We were discussing leaving around 10:00 to head to the park. I'm hoping we will have HF veterans with us for guiding and assistance. There are multiple obstacles ranging from easy to rock crawler and bypasses for those that need to not destroy their trucks :D << I'm talking about me and my over zealousness haha. @CedarPark (iirc) had a good info post about HF from earlier and can probably answer some questions if needed :fingerscrossed::thumbsup:

    HF Park List:

    @Misplaced Nebraskan
    @Texoma
    @pixelsailor
    @MattCowsmasher
    @siguy
    @CedarPark
    @Tynan
    @TX_Lucian
    @riz_atx
    @Sleipnir
    @TX-TACO
    @n0troublen0fuss (possibly)

    ***Chime in on either event and I'll try to update daily***

    I think I'm up to date on the lists. Let me know if there are changes.

    I hate to do this but I'm going to have to back out of Hidden Falls until I can have the front end looked at, I think I have a tie-rod on the way out.

    Trust me when I say doing a tie rod repair on a trail is the fucking worst. I now carry a spare set with me when I wheel because I broke one the first day of wheeling trip earlier this year. Took a full day to get parts from O'Reilly and Toyota would have been 3 days.

    Well I can hear a pop every now and then (more so after lock to lock) and I can feel a small tick over speed bumps. Basically if my wheels encounter a bump while not going straight it feels... off. I have the print out from the alignment I had done after PINS, so that shouldn't account for the feeling. It could also be the ball joints, now that I think about it but I hope not. The truck only has a little over 50k miles.

    Well, if he's there and willing to do so, sure. Otherwise I'm making an appointment next week to have it looked at.

    Mine is wired to a cigarette adapter, just plugs right in when I need it!
