Outperformed: Brewers, Angels, Rockies, D-Backs, Braves, Yankees, and Rays.

Underperformed: CUBS!!!, Mariners, Mets, Rangers, Indians, and Blue Jays.

    Am I missing anything?

Note: The Giants were going to be lucky to grab a WC spot at best.

Well, we already lost this series. Though I was hoping we would show up and give our best against theirs and see who wins . . . sad thing is, as good as the Dodgers are, I would actually feel better getting our butts completely kicked. But, we literally gave them game one with screw ups and other misc nonsense and they tried like hell to give us game two tonight, something the Royals feast on [just ask Correa at Houston or Murphy and Duda with the Mets and many others in recent years frankly] but time after time tonight just failed to take advantage. Several chances to win tonight and just didn't. Man in scoring position, no outs. Stranded! Then, in the 10th, after Seager's error puts Hosmer at 2nd with nobody out, I thought . . . GAME OVER but we strand him there again, and then we give them a walk in - walk off. Walk the bases full and then walk in the winning run. I could f'ing do that! 58 years old with severe lupus and I am absolutely certain I could go out there, walk 3 hitters, and then walk in the winning run! So, is not getting our asses kicked a moral victory? Nope, unlike the entire month of June, we are just not playing Royals baseball. Not even close. That is disappointing!

Announcer said LA has been winning like that all year. I haven't followed them but, call me kooky, I figured their $300M roster, 7 all stars, all those homers, great starters, and lights out bullpen probably had something to do with it?

And tomorrow, we get Kershaw . . . the one game we should lose!

You act like you don't like them we all know you'll be first in line to the parade, if the blue crew wins it all.

It still makes me happy to see a small-market team like KC competing .... still wish the Dodgers were owned by a small quality family like the O'Malley still, rather than typical big business Corporation owned.

Ha, I'm sure everyone on this thread Dodger fans anyway will be thinking of you Don when they're popping bottles of champagne !

... if it does happen I'm sure it will only be once because all the Young Guns will be wanting Mega contracts for sure, that's the sad part about today's sports.

I haven't looked at the Doyers player contracts. No doubt some will bolt for more money. Looks like they should have enough younger guys still under contract to take it a little longer. And Magic is too smart, so no doubt they'll be around for a time. And they have lots of dough.

The Dodgers are a great team which was what I was trying to say in my previous post about having 7 all stars, great starting pitching, and a lights out pen. That is certainly NOT my way of saying a team sucks! I just wish KC would have showed up. KC could of and should of won that series 2-1 and just didn't. Now, winning is the key and they didn't get it done but unlike the entire month of June, they gave away game one and then two of our quality relief pitchers allow a 3 walk, walk in, walk off loss in the 10th of game 2? I just want to see these 2 teams play "at their best" and then I will be cool with it. Kershaw is the most amazing left handed pitcher I have seen . . . against right handed batters. He just made our right handers look silly. Then Hosmer goes 3-4 with a HR from the left side against him. That is just weird but amazingly effective . . .

Pretty sure Arron Judge could name his price as tight end in the NFL. Holy cow the guy can hit though. I thought Sano could win the HR derby but Judge made him look silly.

Moose came in last but, frankly, despite his [top 5] 25 HRs, he is a pure line drive hitter. Though he really gets a hold of one occasionally, he hits so many balls just over the fence and it seems like earlier this year one home run went out in right center, like 370 ft, was timed in like 2.2 secs leaving the park. I don't even know if that math works but something like that. I think Hosmer or Salvy could have actually done better in the HR derby the way they do it.
