Is there a decent slide-in truck camper with a toilet and shower that either a tacoma or tundra can be compatible with? What do you guys think about the six pac:

It's the only one I could find, without having to buy a tundra, but even the tundra is limited. I would have to buy a full duty truck like a ford or chevy, etc. If I did go that route, what do you recommend?

Yeah I thought about that too, but I don't want to tow around a trailer everywhere, especially if I do a cross country trip. I think my only solution would be to get a ford, etc.

The payload for our trucks is around 1500lbs. The truck is rated to tow 5000lbs.

If you can find a barebones trailer for what you need I think you (and your truck) would be happier.

The nice thing about a trailer is you can drop it off where ever you're staying. Then you don't have to lug it or a camper around.

Yeah I'm thinking about travel trailers again now. I do have a hitch.

I would do a trailer too, pulling is easy, the truck really sags unless you have some sort of air bag suspension.
and being able to drop the trailer where ever and still drive the truck is pretty cool.
