I just took that pic this afternoon so you'll see it tomorrow. I'm dragging it up to pick @EddyRRT's mind on some fab ideas I have for it.

Nice build! Did you end up not doing the u-bolt flip? I'm a visual learner and didn't see any pics :D sorry but that's a lot of pages to read through to find out if you did or didn't

Got any pics? I'm installing some TC mounts with fox bumps but didn't know it wasn't compatible with a u-bolt flip. Was gonna cut some on the CNC but wanted to see what was out there. Nobody seems to post pics of it :annoyed:. Wish I knew before I spent on the fox setup

U-bolts with the stricker plate please. About how much thread from the u-bolts is sticking out? My main concern is the bumps hitting the u-bolt :(

Gotcha! The u-bolts I've got were super long and were cut down so they wouldn't hit anything.

I'm going outside now to snap you a few pics.

Exactly what I wanted to see thanks! How's the pad on the bump stop? Doesn't look like it's ever contacted the nut on the u-bolts

You're correct...it's never contacted the nut or any of the threads of the bolt. It strikes on the "ear" on the plate.

Thanks! I guess I'll be the guinea pig to make an all pro u-bolt flip work with fox bumps. Hopefully all goes well :fingerscrossed:

Do the fox bumps mount the same as the icons I have? Did they come with a top plate?

Keep me posted on how it works.

    They are Total Chaos mounts

The flip kit is all pro which came with timbren bumps
    timbren-kit01_1.jpg
I don't think the top plate has enough meat on it so I'm gonna add a 1/4 plate with a little more area for the fox bump stop. Similar to the icon one. My main concern with it was hitting the u-bolts but seeing as icon has already done it, I'm gonna give it a shot.

I think you'll be good to go...I didn't buy a flip kit because I'd be stuck with stuff I wasn't going to use. So, since the Icon plate was designed as a replacement for the plates that come in the flip kits, I just bought some Grade 8 u-bolts and called it good.
