Anyone know of a good tire shop I can get my new wheels installed at for cheap? Discount tire charges around $65 for all 4 and I don't trust them with my wheels, nothing but bad luck with them. I live in Denton but I'm willing to drive somewhere that can do it cheaper and not mess up my new wheels

I dont know what they charge, but Truxx Outfitters would do it right.

So my wife is hosting a bachelorette weekend for one of her friends the last weekend in July. So the house is going to be overrun with estrogen. Any ideas for something I can occupy myself with outside the house that wont break the bank?

Lone Star 4x4 uses Discount Tire, as I had them do some work for me. Also if it helps, I would avoid that place, the Owner is a dang snake and a poorly managed business on his part.

He was pleasant to deal with when I went to get my springs installed onto my struts.

First time I had work done to my truck, his shop was great. Actually paid him more than what he asked as I didn't think he charged me enough. Second time though it was not as good of an experience. He tried to charge me more for work to be done because of his mistake after we had agreed on a price from his quote. Also, he told me work was done, drove out to his shop and it was not done, so had to come back a week later since he did not talk to his guys. Just poor business practices if you ask me. Nice guy yes, but after my last experience, don't want to deal with him.

I'm hoping to never have to compress truck springs ever again so thats probably going to be my last time I go there anyway lol.

However, the manager at NTB in Grapevine off 121 is awesome for mounting wheels/tires.

I might be down. I need to get out and a night run would not be bad with no a/c, though I hope its fixed by them.

Also there's a 4 Wheel Parts Customer Appreciation Event at BMRA on Labor Day weekend (9/1-9/4) for anyone interested. Free admission to the park and dinner on Saturday night. Free registration though 8/18. Some info on Facebook but couldn't find it on their website. I've already registered here https://form.jotform.us/70996495304164 I'll probably go Saturday morning and leave after dinner or might camp overnight if the weather is cool enough.
