On a guess you would need a hard cover so it doesn't shift and block the camera ? I found a hard cover for my camper spare which is small I am sure you can find one for your size tire. I will say what I found was generic so you have to fab your own mountings etc.

The FJ's cover is plastic on the top half where the cut out is and vinyl on the bottom half.
Problem is it's brand specific and there were so few FJ's with oversized tires with a spare cover, there was never really a market for them.
The original sort of fits half azzed, but you need a shoehorn and vaseline and you still have to fight it.

Good afternoon. Been up a few hours tried to sleep in for the 7PM to 7AM shift tonight. But on call still have to take care of the existing systems so been nap here nap there when not working. Was going to do a chicken on the grill but don't see it happening.

Damn Jim you are a blessed man what a great Office you have!!

So this has been my office the last week and next week. Floor 2 of the first building. The 3 buildings were owned by IBM at one time but IBM is down to almost nothing here, most of their business is overseas now. Same with Hitachi data systems, Western Digital and a few others that used to be around those are all gone and we now own their buildings too. Much cheaper than green fielding and building a new building. But I hate to see all those jobs go overseas.

    command center.jpg

Across the street is the entrance to IBM manufacturing plant which has so few people left they don't even have anyone manning the guard shacks going in now.

I'd take your office any day Jim! Yours is just plain beautiful!!

Afternoon all. Back home from the Cape safe and sound. I'm ready to go back...

Edit: I've been internet shopping at campers. Wife is warming up to it. I'd like to find a Scamp 19' 5er.

Only if it's powered by a mechanical injection pump Cummins...

I've been carousing the fiberglassrv adds... We've run across a few but she's more of a new purchase vs used kind of gal.

New will be pricey In fiberglass. But the back end and up keep costs are cheaper then any other and resale is faster usually along with the value it retains plus being lighter then most other styles in the same size. They are some of the reasons I bought what I bought it was only 7 months old lol.

I can set the truck up to do all of that, why tow something?

Oh yeah the wife. Mine hates camping, or pit toilets to be exact. Or the fact there are no bathrooms where we go. Unless you call a shovel a bathroom.

    Afternoon all

Just got back from a little spirited drive or until the water temp in my Camaro said head home . Got a lot of thumbs up while driving around and was having fun flashing the converter to 4200rpm while only going 25mph , that definitely caught peoples attention

The air is still screwed here being very thin with the DA at 6344ft corrected and Relative Density at 82.70 . Still thinking a jet change in the carb might help as it still feels lazy on the hit !!

Wish I had a twin Turbo motor right now !!
