I wash mine once a week and always by hand. I have only been through a car wash once and it was awful.

Damn dude..how do you budget for that? Twice a month for me. But I also cquartzed the truck..now nothing sticks to the paint. I hose it and dry with ONR and a microfiber. Maybe I'll do a full detail twice a year.

Makes more sense than paying an extra truck payment per month. Gotta see if any local places offer that around here. In Winter im washing mine once a week.

Washing is weather dependent around here, so it might work out to 1X week on average. I have a silver truck so it probably has the most forgiving colour for dust. In winter it's salt, so when the road is an abrasive slurry of salt and sand I try to blast it off in the pressure wash place as often as I can. The rest of the time it's a hand wash in the driveway - sometimes full details and sometimes quick washes depending on how much time I have and what needs to be accomplished. In summer, it's a struggle to keep the bugs from becoming permanent if I've been doing any night driving. Haha

When it rains my truck gets clean. I, however, don't touch it more than once a year. I'm going on 2 now. It's a truck and gets used accordingly.

Actually I am in and out in under 10 minutes. Wash…quick vacuum and wipe down any excess water. Go right by the place a few times a day on my way home.

I must be in the minority. In the summer down here in Florida, mine may get washed once every two months......it's just too damn hot and we get thunderstorms all the time this time of year, so the regular washing makes no sense. In our "cooler" months, maybe once every six weeks or so. It's silver so it hides dust and dirt really well.

Being 3 miles from the nearest pavement on dusty gravel roads makes washing the truck kind of useless during the dry summer. Yes, I will wash it if I'm going somewhere like a city, but out here it's NOT worth it, plus I can't hand wash it out here anyway, since I have well water with lots of minerals and sulfur in it, and a limited wellhead.
