Bald Mt is by Shaver Lake, Ca. From Sac it's like a 3hr drive to trailhead of Rock Creek Rd. Fyi, I'm on my way to slickrock, will go see if your tree is still there.

It's has great scenary. The trail is moderate, so it's a good place to get some trail time if you're a novice like myself.

A lot of down trees but your tree is still there. Trail is in good condition but it was tough in some spots that usually were easy. After the staircase, the trail becomes a rock garden going uphill with some nice size rocks for like 20ft and it sucked. Needed both lockers to get up. It will probably be different the next time, Slickrock changes all the time. Pictures and video coming...

From Slickrock today. Not a lot of pictures as we moved fairly quickly with no real needs to stop. Working on video, will post when done.CHA_3471.jpg CHA_3476.jpg CHA_3483.jpg CHA_3507.jpg CHA_3511.jpg CHA_3535.jpg CHA_3547.jpg CHA_3566.jpg CHA_3568.jpg CHA_3571.jpg
