Nah- ditched the third gen without much fuss. Got a Siverado LTZ at a great price. Mucho better truck. Less problems than my Taco at the same mileage (15,000).

Pretty happy with with 20mpgs, a 6.2l corvette motor and 8 spd tranny. The taco, well, kinda blew balls, lol.

But hey- I'll put a $2,000 tent on the top and it will bad A$$$, lol.

    Poser.

Oh hell no. Parted ways with that POS in December. I'm only here because someone PM's me, lol.

I could care a less about Tacoma's, or RTT's, or any of this BS, lol.

And I'm painting the house and it's 100deg outside, and right now I hate everyone.

I hate the way you camp, and do stuff and spend your money. You should be like me in every thing I do, because my opinion is better, and I do things harder and more awesome in every way.

But have you built a snow shelter and slept in it at -45°?

That was awesome. I did one bird hunting trip with it. Nice shade, crawl in the back to sleep.. I use that Noah's tarp over my Silverado now. If the Taco has a roof rack you can bungee that tarp corner to the rack stiles, stake out the sides and with one pole set the back out.

Easy peesy. 1 minute and I was done.

-40 is my lowest. In a canvas wall tent. You are a God. I bow to thee.
