Not a huge addition, but I threw on some sumo springs in preparation of the RTT that is coming. I am jealous of these suspension builds.. @HeadStrong Off-Road I'm coming to see you the second I get out of this horrid country that won't allow a suspension lift.

I had a hard time with it also because of the hitch and body moldings that come down in the rear. I ended up laying on the ground, took a long screwdriver, and pried one side tab at a time per light. So one tab, slip that side through at an angle, then the other tab, and it popped out. Repeated for the other side.

Are you sure they're actually fading? I thought the red lettering on Pro wheels were fading too, but it was just some kind of white buildup (maybe from soap or hard water). I scrubbed it off real well and now my letters look new again.

Finally got some more done yesterday. For the interior, I dropped the overhead console, passenger side post, center console, and hardwired my windshield accessories (radar detector, GoPro, and my bluelight). I also mounted a CB, but I intend to use it only for certain trips on occasion, so I needed it to be easily taken in/out. I've got a magnetic antenna with the cable ran under the seats and mats up through the rear window, and I'm leaving the CB on the lighter plug outlet. I will post a writeup later about how I routed and wired everything. I think it's great having the GoPro mount, but they missed the mark by 50% when they didn't include power or a dashcam module for it. I may tear it all apart again and redo it when I get one of those interior switch modules. For the exterior, I finally got those old man stripes off my truck. They came off easily enough with a hairdryer, but I had to use GooGone for the adhesive left over, and it was a bit of a pain. A lot of rubbing, then had to wash and wax twice just to get all the film off. I am still not sure if I'm going to leave or remove the badges and the TRD sticker. Thoughts?

I have already replaced the license plate lights with LED, had the front windows tinted to match the rear, I chose WeatherTech liners, and I've got a tri-fold bed cover on the way (should be here Tuesday). Thinking about possibilities for tires/wheels and lift (if I do it, it's going to be small), a full light kit for my blue lights instead of just the single windshield bar (anyone in fire/rescue or law enforcement have experience with this on a Gen 3?), and some seat covers.

Got a tailgate key copied and then modified to fit better. Works great. Cost $3.

Washed and waxed this morning. Yesterday I plastidipped the grill, "Tacoma" badges, rims, and removed the "v6" emblem on the tailgate. I also had the windows tinted 2 weeks ago. I'm about 900 miles in and loving it!

TRD OR debadged, TRD Pro grill with white letter decal, tailgate black reflective inserts, white glovebox tacoma decals, led interior lights, led headlights, led fog lights, and rain guards. Have had this truck 2 weeks after trading in my 17 BBP sr5 XP 4 banger and I have to say the TRD OR is 100x better than the sr5. The 4cyl was just too weak so I had to get the v6. Love the keyless entry and lock. Thinking about doing the TRD Pro shift knob next.IMG_5675.jpg

Thanks, not they aren't actually. I wasn't going to pay that price when I could get the same ones for cheaper. I didn't paint them, they come "sand blasted" or smooth.
