Put a fucking bosch oil filter on until I got the case of oems ordered online. Figured the crap filter could make it a few thousand miles. Shoulda swapped it out when they came. POS Bosch started leaking somehow. Seal matched, was part number for Tacomas and was still tight. Thinking the seal failed as it was really hard and crispy when I pulled the filter. It was not overtightened either. Sacrificed a big towel to sponge bathe the oil off the bottom of truck all the way back down passenger side. Luckily it happened close to house and "only" lost half a quart while driving. Fuck Bosch!

Thanks. The test was the easy part. Trying to figure out how to actually use it is much harder.

How do you like the treds? Any issues with them cracking? I am trying to decide between maxtrax or treds.

so far they are fine, i have seen videos showing that the maxtrax are stronger but no issues yet. I also havent had to use them as bridges yet.
the one thing i dont like about them is how they stack, a stack of 4 tred is almost 2x as high as a stack of 4 maxtrax
