Tacoma HAM Radio Bracket FOR SALE!

So a complete package? What is your thought on a price for the bracket?

Sorry everyone, I forgot to mention that one of the fins on the heatsink needs a small tapper trim to clear for a nut that protrudes from the gear selector. The radio might fit without trimming but it would probably be rubbing.
I talked with my radio expert (his nick name is Radio) about the trimming and he said that this would have zero affect to the radio. Which it hasn't in my testings.

I'm looking into the possibilities of selling a complete kit which sounds like people are more open too. This would include:

• Kenwood TM-281A Radio - Trimmed and ready for installation - Modifications maybe but I doubt it.
• Tacoma/ Automatic Mounting Bracket with the needed hardware.
• Wiring Harness that mounts directly to the battery.
• Tram 1185 Mag Mount & antenna or equivalent.

I have to get a few more loose ends wrapped up before I can fully commit to supplying a package but I'll let you know ASAP

Nice idea, but I mounted my Yaesu FT-7800 under the passenger seat and put the faceplate in the area underneath the power outlets. I put an external speaker right in front of the shifter.

 

Post some pics. Might give the stick guys an idea.

The price for the bracket isn't known yet. I still need to have it quoted for some kind of protective surface.
Once I figure it out I'll post up, but I'm expecting these to be vary reasonable.

 

Anyone willing to buy a radio and install ASAP for test fitting? I would need you to report back with which bracket fit the best and how the install goes. You get to keep the brackets as a thanks.
These brackets are not the final production bracket and is not coated.
If all goes well, I'd also like you to post install pics and give your own review.

Obviously, I need to see that you can install this bracket which means trimming and wiring without instructions. And without it looking like a hack job. So if you have a build page, link it so I can see your work.

 

Is this for 2nd gen or 3rd gen
