Good Deal on Wheels/Tires or Nah (TRD PRO Wheel & Ridge Graps)

Dealership said they could do 4 4Runner TRD Pro wheels with 265/70/17 Ridge Grapplers mounted and balanced for 2k. Should I go for that or would I get a better deal buying them separately and getting them mounted/balanced at a local tire shop?

 

That seems STEEP. I would not do that. Give me a few minutes and I'll get you some links with better prices.

So I underestimated how damn expensive these tires are. $2k isn't too far off, but you can save a couple hundred bucks if you go this route.

I'm trying to find out what the rockstar rims off set is. I can't find anything. I bought them from Toyota. I bought truck new. And they installed them as a port option. They are 265-70-17. I need to know with these wheels if I will need spacers for 285-70-17.

 

Safest bet is to take the wheel off, and measure the backspacing with a measuring tape.

Yep, exactly. It may take some creativity to get a precise measurement. Like a 17" piece of metal or wood spanning from edge to edge of the wheel, so you're not eyeballing where the inner lip is.
