Austin Area TW Chapter (all gens welcome, even T4Rs; heck, just make it a Toyota and we're good)

It looks like a great time was had at Hidden Falls! The second weekend in August i'll be in the San Marcos area again at the river so I plan on coming over to see everyone at C&C and then I might make a run to Hidden Falls afterward. Just depends on if I can get someone to roll with me since I don't like to wheel alone in case I get in a bind.

I would be down for something. If we aren't going wheeling I may even drive the Cadillac up so she can stretch her legs on I-10 a bit. I might be rolling solo again though because the BF usually likes to get home and kind of wind down for work early in the AM on Monday. My boss lets me run wild so I can always come in a little late if I'm tired from shenanigans.

Lakeway City Park is pretty nice, I've put my Kayak in there several times. But it is usually packed AF

Simultaneously the most fun and the scariest thing I've ever done on some of those trails yesterday.

 

The best wheeling trips I've had are the ones where you get to the bottom of the trail and look back like "I did that" with your heart still kind of beating fast and the adrenaline pumping through your veins. Like you can be scared the whole way down but once you make it you feel like a BAMF.

I need like 6-8 months of build time, then we need to get a wolf caves run going.

 

So how friendly is wolf's caves to 33s locked rear and open front?
