That's funny. The 12k and 10k wasn't much more. So I just went for it.

Friends usually recognize me around town because of my yellow pods and the fact that they need sunglasses to drive by me at night......my fogs are offroad lights

Oh no im not THAT mean. These are the brightest round lights i could find big enough to fit in the bumper cut outs. They are 27watt Shanren spot offroad lights from Amazon. They are pretty bright for 12 dollar lights.

That's a felony, I would think, considering that there was more than $500 of damage involved.

I don't know what's wrong with people. I was rear-ended IN MY OWN DRIVEWAY by some Nigerian dude who was racing along on the street that I live on and he sued me for it, claiming compensation for damages to his knee (a previous injury), his wife's cancer, and his daughter's arm surgery (unrelated) . My insurance called it fraud and took it to court.

Did he also try to sue over the death of his favorite pet? Brain tumors? Cuban middle crisis? The triumph of Satan over the forces of good? People like that need to be shot. I believe the term is rate sucker.

When someone backed into my rear bumper it ended up being $1600 to fix. New bumper, paint match, and replacement bolts that broke. If you were thinking about getting some armor in the front, you might as well do it now when insurance will pay for it.

Edit: I'd make sure the paint is going to match with a replacement bumper from the factory. If your Toyota dealer is anything like mine they're going to half-ass it as much as possible.

Of course he wouldn't call his Insurance Company why would he, like mentioned earlier at the beginning of the thread he probably did it on purpose looking to fix his car completely from the previous damage. He knows his insurance rates are going to go Sky High so it's no surprise he hasn't contacted them because only innocent and honest people with insurance report accidents whether it's their fault or not. Just saying. Glad it wasn't so expensive. Be safe out there OP when driving , there are some seriously crazy unique and creative sociopaths out there on the roads .
